Greetings Sorors, Community Partners, Friends, and Visitors!Welcome to the official website of the North Broward County Alumnae Chapter (NBCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. NBCAC, formerly known as Pompano Beach Alumnae, was founded on April 16, 1994 by 34 passionate women who had a vision to ensure that the Pompano Beach area had a valuable voice. Today, almost 30 years later, that work expands to the entire North Broward County area where we provide advocacy, awareness, mentorship, education, and social action that transforms not only individuals, but communities.
I am honored and humbled to serve as the 9th President of this noteworthy chapter. Our goal is to expand our footprint and transform our community. To this end, we will focus our work for this biennium under the theme “The G.O.A.T. (Guaranteeing Opportunities And Transformation) Era”. We believe that everyone has to be given an opportunity. We believe that everyone deserves a transformational process. We believe that Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service, and Social Action are the vehicle our 22 Founders envisioned to carry out this process.
